What the hell is this?

I'm gonna give a small introduction to this group, SourceFreaks is a group where we have fun with the Source Engine, VALVe titles and especially Garry's Mod 12, because we love old shit.

This website allows you to talk with people in the Forum, play some games on Events and become a part of this fine community.

Thanks to this website and group, it allows me to be able to host game events, talk on forums and all that bunch of crap. We have a Mumble server as well as a MSN group coming up which only members will be able to access.

Why forums? Why use an obsolete way of communication when stuff like Discord exists?

Well mister, if you're asking this type of question to something thats suppose to be a 2000's like gaming group/club and wondering why some people are willing to use SUCH OUTDATED THINGS, here's out answer for you.

The reason why we don't wanna use something like that is because it's very fucking boring and unoriginal, people have gotten used to using Discord so much that they refuse or outright not willing to go on anything that isn't that..

Yes, it's more convenient, but people have gotten so used to using whatever others are using that it's not even worth it... And in the recent news Discord was banned in a few places around the world, so not everyone can access the platform, this is why we support forums and IRC.

People on the internet are known to hop on trends, Discord was and still is trendy cause it was something thats better than Skype or any other messenger, people will use anything thats hip and popular, unless it get's called out for doing some creepy practices or doing weird shit behind people's backs, of course.

The best thing to do is to try and stand out, bring something new to the table. This makes you atleast stand out from over 100,000 groups that already exist on the internet

How do I join and talk with people?

To do that, you just need to go to our forums, register, and thats it. It's this simple.
