Post subject:  Computer stuff
I own a computer which it's hardware dates back to 2002, it doesn't have an internet card at all, though, I'm planning on buying one
Do you guys think it would be funny to repurpose it into an old game device and a light internet surfing machine?
Specs:
  • AMD Athlon XP
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 8 GB Seagate Drive
  • Geforce 2 Card
This computer originally belonged to my dad, so I got it as a gift cause I love messing around with old stuff

Give me suggestions on what you think I should do with it

Try Running Half-Life WON on it. It could run it.

Try Running Half-Life WON on it. It could run it.
Jokes on you, I do have Half-Life WON on it! :lol:
It plays wonderfully at 800x600, struggles on anything above though, such a nice experience though :mrgreen:

I'm pretty sure you can get an old version of Counter Strike on it.

Oh yeah. But i don't think people host servers for those versions. You'd probably need to get bots on it.

Yeah that could probably work! :D
I have to get a network card first, after that, I think I can figure out what I can do, always wanted to play the WON version of CS1.6 someday :V
