Been playing a bit of CS lately, a bit of 1.6 and a bit of Source, Some CS2 too (its ass)
I like both games for their own reasons, kinda feel like elaborating too...

1.6

Pros:
> More competitive/fast paced than Source
> More players than Source
> Runs 60fps on a toaster

Cons:
> Graphics are pretty bad (this is personal preference, im fine with it)
> Less cool mods

Source:

Pros:
> Better graphics
> Cooler mods and maps
> funny ragdolls

Cons:
> Heavier, harder to run than 1.6
> Less competitive/Less fast paced

Both's server browsers are filled with garbage... :(
