Using Linux for about a year, a small opinion on the entire thing
Post #20 - Written by jobz in 2025/05/11

Since last year I have been using Linux as my daily driver to see if it's much better than Windows... heres my conclusion to that question.

Small elaboration: I've been using Arch Linux as my daily driver, I tried Linux Mint before, but it was for such a short time I completely forgot how that is.

So, what is my opinion?

The infamous Tux, the mascot of Linux.

I find it much cleaner and easier on my RAM, however, it's not a everday-user friendly operating system.

You have to shuffle around the Terminal once in every while compared to Windows where you have to go there once every 3 weeks or so, which is a drastic change, you use Terminal to sync up your packages, to connect to a desktop remotely and all that stuff. It's not as instant as open a program and press a button, you gotta mess around with it in order to do something, for me it's fine, for normal users, it's not.
