Music is a blessing, and a curse

Music, a piece of entertainment that we all love and also which we consume everyday
I think everybody knows what music is, if you don't, are you even alive? Music is a piece of entertainment and art that has existed for a long time now, we hear it outside, at home, on the tv, on the pc, we hear it everyday. Music is used in stuff like OP's and ED's in shows, it's the thing that is pretty much spread around. It's a big thing.
I used to listen to music everyday before, hell, i had a 200 GB folder full of music! I used iTunes and all that stuff. However, I had to drop doing that since I would resort to listening to music whenever I'm bored.

...unfortunately, and somewhat foreseeable, I had developed a VERY toxic relationship with music to the point where it took up a ton of my time and me not being able to live without it basically living the "NO MUSIC NO LIFE!" life. Deciding on what to do with it and ignoring how I was practically glued to music mentally, I finally decided to delete my music folder and get rid of pretty much anything that had to do with music from my Recommendations on YouTube. There are a few things I listen to, but a few of them are relaxation music I uploaded to the website, so that doesn't necessarily count. |

Depending on the person, music can be a blessing and curse. It can motivate you, give you energy to do something, or, in the worst case, consume a large portion of your daily life. And in a language learning aspect, it doesn't help at all with learning new things, you listen to music just to listen to music, you might even sometimes sing it, which isn't bad on it's own, but when you don't know much, it becomes a problem. It's one of those things which sucks and doesnt suck at the same time.
